1.5 million visitors per year
Charleroi Métropole welcomes close to one and a half million visitors to its various tourist attractions each year. In fact, the region has a number of museums and exceptional sites.
Add to these, the thousands of walkers who roam the hundreds of footpaths in the Pays de Charleroi and the Pays des Lacs each year. Put simply, an iconic site of Charleroi Métropole are the Lacs de l’Eau d’Heure, the total shoreline of which is greater than the entire Belgian coastline.
