Two of the tourist information centres in the Charleroi Metropolitan Area; the ‘Pays des Lacs’ and the ‘Pays de Charleroi’ tourist information centres, have been working together to develop a high quality range of tourist attractions with the aim of turning the Charleroi Metropolitan Area into a fully-fledged destination for short stays. To go about this, the two tourist information centres are pooling their skills and knowledge by promoting and marketing the urban and rural aspects of the Charleroi Metropolitan Area: urban activities, culture, sports, culinary adventures, heritage, long walks, etc.
