Delicious homemade tarts in Nalinnes
Specialising in both sweet and savoury tarts, T’artistes had us drooling at the sight of their brunch. There truly is something to suit all palates: savoury quiches (spinach & brie, goat cheese & apple, Lorraine, Sicilian), sweet tarts (lemon meringue, frangipane, treacle…), but also delicious platters (Vegetarian, English or mixed) served with pastries, freshly-squeezed fruit juice and dessert.
Everything is made right there in front of you. Brunches can also be collected as takeaways.
A tasting room at Pont-à-Celles
“Les Délices d’Achille” serves up not only cakes and homemade ice cream from Wednesday to Sunday, but also mouth-watering brunches on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
In the form of a self-service buffet, their brunches are made up of sweet and savoury local products. In addition to freshly-squeezed fruit juice and platters of cheese and charcuterie served alongside delicious artisanal breads, the tasty seasonal quiches add some original flair to the selection.
The added extra: Aurélie, the culinary mastermind behind it all, organises themed brunches, such as a Saint-Nicolas brunch or special brunches for end-of-year festivities.
Breakfast restaurant in Charleroi
L’Aristocrate gives you the option of putting together your own brunch. Sweet or savoury, the choice is yours: pasta, bagels, pancakes, crêpes… This cosy spot is the ideal place for enjoying a long brunch with family or friends every day of the week (including weekends).
It is also possible to hire the restaurant for private celebrations of birthdays or other events.
One not to miss: brunch by reservation
“Les Filles de l’Atelier Gourmand”, in Montignies-sur-Sambre, organises brunches up to three times a month. These renowned chefs offer up sweet and savoury dishes, each one just as mouth-watering as the next: chocolate mousse, savoury quiches, gratins… The glass of something sparkling offered to you adds an extra festive touch to your brunch.
The restaurant Cousins Cuisine, in Marcinelle, also a wine bar, organises a luxury brunch approximately once a month. The two cousins slaving over the hot stove, Justine and Gauthier, don’t shy away from bold flavours: game terrine, pulled pork bagels, mini-cakes, chestnut tart, cookies… Their menu changes along with the seasons.
Comptoir Feel Food in Thuin invites brunch lovers to sample its wares once a month. They put together both sweet and savoury dishes (pancakes, French toast, savoury waffles, scrambled eggs…). The menu showcases local and organic products, in keeping with the whole concept of the restaurant.
